Airplane Ferrying

Pilots experienced in many different single and light multi-engine are the only ones you should trust with your plane.  Our pilots treat your planes like their own, with respect, care and skill.  We fly your aircraft the way you would.  Let us know your wishes concerning power settings, leaning procedures, etc and we will comply.  Your aircraft is in capable hands!


Pilot Qualifications
:

·

Commercial / Instrument.  MEL, SEL

·

5,000 plus hours 

·

Tailwheel Qualified / Current.  1000+ tailwheel hours in aircraft from Pitts Specials to the Cessna 195.

·

Multi-engine Qualified / Current.  1000+ hours in multi-engine aircraft.  BE55, BE58, C310,+ 

·

Pilots in South Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma and Colorado.

·

We are not a referral service.  We know our pilots – mature individuals who love to fly!


Costs:

·

$150 to $250/day base cost, (depending on aircraft & trip) plus expenses
(meals, lodging, travel to and from home-base, fuel, oil and airport fees).

·

Weather delays not charged. 

·

Maintenance delays are charged $100/day, plus expenses.

·

Receipts are provided for all expenses. 

·

Our pilots travel at the lowest possible cost to you.  We will use the most reasonable travel method and we never charge for charts.

     
Your Aircraft:

·

We fly piston powered aircraft ranging from single-seat single-engine to six-seat multi-engine aircraft

·

Aircraft must be airworthy with all FAA inspections and paper work current

·

We do not provide liability insurance.  Owner will need to add our pilot to his/her policy. 
      (Usually at no added cost)

·

We will fly your aircraft the way you would fly it.  Simply advise our pilot of your wishes concerning power settings, leaning procedures, etc and we will comply.  Your aircraft is in good hands. 


Flight Conditions:

·

Based on the varied types & condition of aircraft ferried, flights are planned for VFR conditions. 

·

IFR flights are executed only in well equipped and maintained aircraft.

·

Our pilots do not provide instruction, but you are welcome to ride along on the flight.  

·

We do not fly extended over-water trips.  We typically restrict flights to the lower 48 states.


Storage Units

Falconhead airport is also equipt with storage units ranging in size from 5'x10' to 15'x40'.  Prices start at $25/ month.  Think of the options;  fly in for the day and pull out your bicycles -or- fly in for the day and load up fishing poles in your golf cart.  The benefits of a home base, without all the maintenance! 

Airplane Hangers

We currently have 4 modern hangers.  Two are equipped with water and electricity, insulated and have rest room facilities.  One even has a special "bump-out" for the family motor home!  We will build to suit!
